The Garmin Approach S50 Golf GPS Watch is a premium GPS golf watch designed to provide accurate yardages, detailed course mapping and performance tracking to help golfers make better decisions on the course. It combines advanced golf features with everyday smartwatch and health tracking capabilities.
The watch features a bright 1.2-inch AMOLED colour display, making course maps, yardages and hazards easy to read in all lighting conditions. It comes preloaded with over 43,000 golf courses worldwide, giving instant access to detailed hole layouts, distances to hazards and lay-ups, and accurate yardages to the front, middle and back of the green.
The PlaysLike Distance feature adjusts yardages based on elevation changes so you can select the correct club more confidently. Additional tools such as PinPointer, Green View, and Hazard View help you plan shots more strategically, even on blind holes or unfamiliar courses.
When paired with the Garmin Golf App, the S50 tracks statistics such as shot distances, greens in regulation and fairways hit. It can also connect to optional club-tracking sensors like Garmin Approach CT1 Club Tracking Tags or Garmin Approach CT10 Club Tracking Sensors to automatically record which club you use for each shot and provide deeper performance analysis.
Away from the course, the S50 works as a full smartwatch with heart-rate monitoring, fitness tracking, sleep tracking and smartphone notifications. The lightweight design with a ComfortFit nylon strap makes it comfortable for everyday wear, while the battery lasts up to 10 days in smartwatch mode or around 15 hours in GPS golf mode.
